Don’t throw mycelium block away. Growing huge flushes after the kit is done

While I was slightly disappointed in the small flushes off the kit I decided to break apart and added water to the mycelium block and made like a paste. I then took and smeared it all over a dead hickory stump in my front yard. With in a few months the mycelium had spread. in a day or so I suspect I will have 3 to 5 pounds worth of beautiful oysters! Try it out! I’m so excited

Easy and Fun (Bought from Amazon)

Very nice to watch them growing every day twice in size! In my case they reached their pick of growing in the 9th day. Then started to get dryer. Maybe I need to provide more humid conditions or colder environment.
